Stuart from Altostratus said….When people hear the name Tinie Tempah they already know he is a true music superstar.

I thought the film crew from Billington Cartmell (Brand Marketing Geniuses) showed a real connection to the actual person and brought out his natural energy and personality superbly such as when Tinie is talking about how the Lucozade bottle design should look like and how he interacts with the designer.

It showed a real warmth and a human touch to Tinie.

But also they showed just how powerful his energy actually is by bringing in his massive enthusiasm for London and for everything he is involved in.

A real star and I am sure Lucozade will be absolutely thrilled by the video.

My favourite part is Tinie on the roof terrace with the mandatory music star sunglasses and Canary Wharf in the background.

Stuart from Altostratus said…. What I liked most about having Tom Pellereau and OK! Magazine here on a shoot was how professional and efficient the crew were.

The images are truly sensational and there is a certain energy in them that I have not seen elsewhere.

They have brilliantly captured Tom and Sarah’s uplifting energy and personalities. You have to give plaudits for the way that both the interview and images bring this out to perfection.

My favourite image is the top one on the terrace as they look like a classic Hollywood couple from years gone by. Exceptional.

I’d worked with Sam a year before, and knew he was pretty easy going, but I also knew that like most Poker players he’s not a natural model (who is?) and is much happier being given something to do in front of camera, and a role to play, rather than being asked to simply pose.

To this end, shooting at Altostratus was a godsend.  Sam was very willing to step into the role of the Bachelor in his swanky penthouse apartment, swanning about on the balcony, and lounging around on the furniture, making himself very much at home.

The venue was in superb condition, and although we were unfortunate to be shooting on a foggy day, we were still able to make use of the balcony to add even more depth and range to the shots.  The finished feature looks great, and I know both the magazine and his sponsors were very happy with the results.  I shall definitely be booking Altostratus again in the near future for more work.

1. Sam Tickett a star UK poker player who has won 6 million pounds this year.

2. Tom Miles a globe trotting photographer.

Anyway Sam Trickett turns up with a brand new £4K Tom Ford suit still in the bag and the shoot begins.

Tom Miles the photographer is a total pro and has much more skills than just producing amazing images. Its no surprise he is so in demand.

In the background Jon Young and John Williams from Players Publishing control the show.

There are some cool cats in the penthouse today and its always good to work with people that don’t and wont take second best.

My favourite image of Sam is the one of the cactus blurry in the foreground as to me shows his sharp side in terms of his Poker winning ability.

Great shoot and very interesting people indeed.

There was enough space to use my lighting equipment and the view from the balcony is superb.

My clients were very happy with the photos, they came out very nice.

On a side note I have to tell how I happy was with Stuart, the owner of the place, easy communication and very good service.

He’s very helpful and makes sure that everything goes right and clients are happy.

He is a seriously experienced professional who you know is that good.

He just knew where to pick the best shots in the penthouse and I think the hallway shot is sensational. But my favourite is the one where Courtenay is sitting down which is simply perfect.

Courtenay looks stunning and relaxed and its a master at work shot.

Stuart from Altostratus said.. When Amina turned up at the penthouse you just started looking at her feet and her legs went on forever and what was on top of them was perfect and complimented by a big beaming smile. She looks like a true superstar.

What I liked about the video is that its firstly such a good r n b song, her voice is amazing and its really catchy and you think stardom all over it.

Secondly she does what she likes.. She loves what she is doing and you can tell this in the video.

After filming at the penthouse I went downstairs where there was a brand new white Rolls Royce at concierge outside waiting for Amina.

That is how she travels guys so start saving the pennies.

Stuart from Altostratus said..Tamas is a film genius in the making, he doesn’t take himself seriously at all but always produces outstanding original and in this case quite shocking and unique work and for me this music video is a cult classic.

It’s always that much more impressive when someone makes it look so easy. I Love the music video and the squeamish bits.

I did look forward to seeing the finished video as all i saw when they came up to do it was the sex toy and a gun and was told the plot was that he would be getting drunk, sniffing cocaine and then shooting himself.

Does the man that shoots himself in the apartment look like Daniel Craig a little?

I really hope there is more from Angelspit and Tamas in this genre.

One thing I did notice also whilst he was filming the commercial at Altostratus Penthouse was that everything in the production was of the highest order from the equipment and cameras he used to the film crew so he demands the very best in everything throughout his work in terms of the equipment and the staff he uses.

I loved the way he created a war scene from the skyline of Canary Wharf and thats something that was very visually exciting and left you wanting more at the edge of your seat.

The photographer said “I knew Amanda would love Altostratus because it is so unique to any other location that she has worked in and has a definite WOW factor that is sure to impress. I am also very impressed my his composition and his image of the legendary Amanda Swan on the Eiffel Chairs above has to be my favourite but the terrace one with the city in the background also is incredible.

He is genuinely easy to get on with and I know a lot of models keep pestering him to take more images for them and you can see why from the images above as they are truly sensational.

Wanting to create a fresh new approach to how mannequins are photographed meant finding an exciting, versatile location was key. With stunning 360 degree views and rooms flooded with daylight, the Altostratus Penthouse more than fitted the bill.

The minimal, white interiors provided SFD with a great back drop to the colourful party scenes we wanted to create. The layout meant we could shoot in one room whilst the next scenario was being set up in another.

By using every room available SFD were able to achieve a range of moods from intimate bedroom scenes to decadent party shots. Shooting from the balcony looking in to the penthouse enabled us to create a unique outsiders view.

The exterior space gave us the opportunity to get some stunning twilight shots with Canary Wharf as a backdrop, a great context for SFD’s range of concrete finish mannequins.

The finished results were amazing and went down a storm at the presentation, so all in all, the Altostratus Penthouse was a great find.

Stuart from Altostratus said.. When I heard SFD who are the UKs top retail designer were bringing 20 top of the range retail mannequins to the shoot at the penthouse I though this was going to be very interesting.

I just did not realise how life like they would be. I was in one of the bedrooms in the penthouse and it was just like having a beautiful young lady in the room, looking like the stars, dressed to perfection and incredibly realistic. In fact so real I did actually notice my mannerisms had changed.

She had perfect make up and a flattering choice of clothing and accessories to sparkle at the penthouse party she was attending that night.

The retail industry is expecially cut throat ( I have experienced it) and you need somthing to rise above the others which this production did in abundance.

The images and the end result is quite simply unique and mesmerizing and very powerful.

Their team and photographer were incredibly knowledgeable and hard working and they deserve plaudits from the results.

My favourite image is the top one of the young lady with blonde hair with the sparkling lights of Canary Wharf in the background.  Simply irresistible and mesmerizing.

Completely Mesmerizing and so much to it. Effortless and beautiful and sort of funny in that its just so damn good.

Emily of course was very welcome and as well as being completely “top totty” is incredibly focused on what she does and does not waste time and has an amazing sense of humour.

The end results speaks volumes for her attitude and the photographic genius of Monochrome Set.

She is definitely one to watch for the future. Potential film star?

Stuart from Altostratus said…What I liked about the Elisa video was the production crew working at the penthouse.

They had a massive amount of expertise and were approachable and easy to get along with.

One memorable part of the shoot was that Elisa flew over from Italy on Ryanair to film at the penthouse which is quite amusing considering she is a globe trotting music superstar.

The city views in the video from the lounge and terrace are stunning and the director Joe Tunmer made use all all areas of the penthouse to create a music video for Elisa that demands respect.

Its no surprise at all that big clients such as Clifford Chance and BNP Paribas have taken up his services.

Stuart from Altostratus said…. When you know The Fonejacker is coming to visit you don’t really know what to expect. Is my phone plugged in was my first thought?

Although the penthouse is 29 floors up that was not enough for Hat Trick Productions who build a higher stand with his trademark telephone on the roof terrace complete with a snow machine.

But that was just the start of it. I work in the office during shoots and all of a sudden there was a loud knock on the office door from the terrace outside and I look up to see someone with a red and white baraclava and scarf and sunglasses.

Anyway it was the Fonejacker coming in for a chat. (He was hungry and needed some of his special cheese that he lives on)

Anyway then he warmed up for his filming here with an impromptu rapping and singing session which was hilarious.

All the production team were having a good time as well as getting the job done.

A one off production from Hat Trick and a perfect performance from The Fonejacker at the Altostratus Penthouse.
